Vanderbilt MSN 2016

I haven't seen a thread yet for 2016 hopefuls, so I thought I'd start one. After much research and changing my mind back and forth, I decided to go for the Vanderbilt MSN. I would be direct entry as I already have my BSN. I finally decided on Pediatric Primary Care. I'm just worried about getting a job after graduation as I'm not really seeing much in the way of openings in the Nashville area--which is where I live.

I already sent an email asking about the scholarship, and whether the amount we already got is per year or one-time. I will update when I hear back but if anyone else has insight feel free to share!

They might be. My last name is towards the end of the alphabet and I have yet to hear anything. I applied to FNP pre-specialty so that may also factor in. I've been lurking on this site for a few months now so it's nice to finally come out of hiding and be a part of the group. Good luck to everyone!

I am also pre-specialty AG-ACNP. But I think someone else on here in that track heard, though not sure if they were direct or pre.

Yes! Apply again! Show them how bad you want it! Your application will probably be twice as good since you already know what to expect!

Congratulations to all of you who have been accepted! I am prespecialty FNP and still haven't heard anything. For anyone else who is still waiting to hear back, hang in there! Hopefully we'll hear something today.

My last name starts with an S. Could they be going alpha? Anyone else chime in? We can debunk this if someone with an S or later name has been told hahaha, yes, I'm refreshing my page every 2 minutes.

I'm right there with you! And my name begins with S also, so I'm praying they're just sending these out in alphabetical order and we'll hear today (though I hope they won't wait until 5 pm again)!
