  1. Got my call at 8:30pm!! God is awesome. Congrats to everyone accepted!
  2. I think it should be pretty fast. The cohort from last year got acceptance calls the day after the final interview day.
  3. Has anyone called the admissions office to get an update? It's strange that no one on this forum has heard anything a week before interviews are scheduled to take place.
  4. My interview is at the end of this month. Best of luck to everyone invited to interview!
  5. I got the same email. Do you think they send it to everyone who applied?
  6. Hi DoulaMe! I'm not able to PM you but I do have a few questions that I'd like you to answer. How did you feel about the GEPN year? Do you feel prepared to take the NCLEX? How do you feel about the quality of the education in general? The professors I met during interview day seemed amazing. Where did you find housing? Did you use loans or savings for your living expenses? Also, one of the biggest questions I have is about the extra year. Vandy is a two year program while Yale is three. Do you think the extra year will be worth it in regards to preparing you better for practice after graduation? Are there any other factors that you'd like to share that influenced your decision? Sorry for all of the questions and thank you in advance for your response. :)
  7. Me too!! I've been vacillating between the two programs for a while now and now that I've gotten into Yale I actually have to make a decision. Vanderbilt has a shorter program and I think I'd rather live in Nashville than New Haven/Orange but I got such a good feeling about Yale and the program during interview day and the extra year may prepare me more for practice. If you have any info/factors you'd like to share that will influence your decision please do! I'm super happy and blessed to be in this position either way.
  8. Same here, although I haven't gotten an invitation to interview via video. I feel like that either puts me in the accepted or rejected column, no waitlist. If it were bad news, I wish they would just say something to put me out of my misery. The admissions office at Emory has put me through the most stress by far.
  9. Hi. I've been lurking on this forum for months now, I applied to the ABSN/MSN program FNP specialty on 11/16 and have yet to hear anything at all in terms of a follow-up or a decision. I saw in previous posts that some applicants got a video interview. At this point, I feel like I probably won't get good news but I wish they would just tell me something. It's super hard to get in touch with anyone by phone.
  10. I'm in for pre-specialty FNP! Found out at 3:43pm est and my last name begins with T. I hope everyone gets a response soon!
  11. Last name begins with T, applied pre-specialty FNP, still waiting on a decision. . Have any others who applied for FNP heard back today?
  12. They might be. My last name is towards the end of the alphabet and I have yet to hear anything. I applied to FNP pre-specialty so that may also factor in. I've been lurking on this site for a few months now so it's nice to finally come out of hiding and be a part of the group. Good luck to everyone!
