Vanderbilt MSN 2015

Hello,

I am applying for the MSN program in '15, due in December. I was wondering if anyone knew how much weight the GRE holds, in regards to being competitive? I am a little nervous about my scores not being competitive. Any advice will help!

Long time lurker, first time poster. I submitted my application on Oct 29 and got my acceptance letter on Saturday for FNP! I'm sure those who applied before Nov1 will be notified of decisions very soon. My online application status hasn't changed yet though.

Will the online application be updated as soon as a determination is made? Because I check it occasionally thinking it might have an update before I get an e-mail or letter.

Looks like no to the online app for sure being updated before we get any mail. I applied by the priority deadline for pre-specialty and still not a peep from Vandy. I'm really really hoping my mailman is back in the habit of misplacing letters containing good news (wedding invites have been known to come a month late or not at all despite multiple attempts from friends) and he'll drop it off today.

My status on the application management page still says "Submitted." Is this what the rest of you are seeing as well?

Hey DCBW I just saw your message, i dont have enough posts to privately message you back though. No, I have not heard anything, but I am direct entry so we may be hearing back at different times anyway? I applied Oct 31, right at the deadline :)

Okay, good. I was thinking it would change to "Received" or "Awaiting decision" or something along those lines but I guess not
