Uworld Self-Assessment Exam questions

Nursing Students NCLEX

Updated:   Published

Hey guys,

Has anyone heard / know how accurate Uworld's new self-assessment exam is? They recently added (01/01/2017) the new self-assessment portion. I had a friend score a 98% on it and passed her NCLEX in 75 questions. She was the only person I know of that took the self-assessment test. Was wondering if any knows about others that have taken it and scored high/low and passed the NCLEX as well. I took my assessment and scored a 92% so I am a bit worried about my chances of passing the NCLEX now...

Thanks in advance!

I finished mine at 52% correct and nclex assessment with 55% correct. I think, you are in right track. When are you testing?

I test in three weeks! í ½í¸« When I took the assessment test today, I just felt so down. What's the ideal score for the nclex assessment test?

I was 96th percentile and passed in 75.

What were your studying materials? I'm doing decent with UWorld questions I'm on 80th percentile but when I took the nclex assessment I did horrible. I was on 56th percentile. Do you have any suggestions for me?

I had a 53% overall Qbank and a 53% Self Assessment on Uworld. I still passed the Nclex. What's most important doing a lot of practice questions and reading the rationales. You're doing way more studying than I ever did. I did at least 75 questions everday for 3 weeks

I take my NCLEX Friday the 15th here in Tokyo, my husband is stationed here in Japan so I have to take it here which is a little nerve racking because its not as easy to get around. Not like waking up in your own home and being able to drive to the test center. :( Anyway, I have done the whole Qbank and finished with about 58% I think. Then did all of the incorrect and now just going by systems. I graduated back in July but because we had to move to Japan and California took 4 months to send me my ATT I am just now testing. I scored in the 80th percentile on the assessment with a "very high" chance of passing but obvioulsy was hoping to do better. I have the horrible habit of re-thinking my answers and changing them to the wrong ones at the last second. I was in a 1 year program and 4 people failed from my class on their first try, but then studied and passed on their second. Many of my classmates had Uworld and very much liked it. I am hoping it works, because I certainly don't want to take this test again after all of the trouble I am having to go through getting to mainland Japan, the cost of having to schedule a test etc. My overall % right now on uworld is 64% I think. I've been doing questions until my brain is leaking out of my ears. Reading all of these posts about Uworld working for people gets my hopes up. Although the anxiety for this exam is killing me...I can't believe I test in 2 days. Yikes.

Is the set assessment exam is the total percentage of your test I took or what?where to find it?

terankin, did you graduate from ISU? I had a classmate who moved to Japan too.

Hello, no I graduated from a program in Miami (FIU) as part of a military medic to nurse one year BSN program. Took my nclex this morning. 75 questions. Was hoping for more. My heart dropped when it clicked off. But I got 'the good pop up' so, hopefully that's good news. I didn't feel super confident. I rushed a lot, sweaty palms. It's not my lack of information it's my test anxiety lol! Hoping I don't have to do it all over again!

I took the nclex twice, being near passing but not close enough. I decided to purchase Uworld and committed to 200 questions a day. I studied the rationals until I understood the method to the NCLEX madness. We learned in nursing school the ABC's of assessment, but it broadened my critical thinking that it may not very well be in that order. Uworld's assessment tool is great. I received a 64% with an overall 88% chance of passing the NCLEX. I took this the day before my exam last week. I passed. For me Uworld allowed me to think on a higher level than when I used other products and tools. Worth every penny!

Hey guys, my graduate nurse friend just completed uworld question bank with 52% and the self assessment with 66% placing him in the 74th percentile, with a "very high" probability of passing. Do you think this is a solid enough score to test two days from now on Wednesday??

Thanks sooooo much!

I completed with 52%, re did my incorrect ones to 55% and passed

Good luck
