UWG Summer 2014

Hi everyone...

I just wanted to start a thread for anyone applying to University of West Georgia Nursing School starting Summer 2014. We can all support each other and share the information and updates that we know of. I am a current sophomore at UWG. Right now my GPA is at a 3.56. I will be eligible for the bonus given to students that have taken 15 or more hours at West Georgia. Last night I went and toured the new nursing building...awesome! Anyways... hope I can get some feedback! We need a support group!

also for the ones who got accepted did it come in the mail?

Just got my letter in the mail. I was denied, but I assumed it was coming. Congrats to everyone who got in :)

Ugh. Mine says Denied but Qualified based on program GPA. Does anyone else says this? Well I guess I will be applying out of state. The ones who got accepted what was your GPA?

Do not give up hope guys.If you all do not have a problem relocating,I strongly suggest applying to the AASU program in Savannah.They will also be starting an accelerated program this summer.

Honestly I'm not sure but I don't think I did..@jonesel9 I'm hoping that the smaller class will be a benefit.

@kjewel thats what my letter said too...qualified but denied...smh. Which is quite ironic because they really don't have any minimum requirements. *shrugs* no worries guys it will all work itself out...this is not the end...

@ue0060 thank you for encouragement.I will check that school out.Do you or any else know of other schools un ga or other states that are 4 year that don't require teas like west ga.Time is going fast and deadlines are approaching for those of us who didn't get accepted.

@mnmegg I have no clue what that means. let's keep staying positive. where are the ones who didn't get in going to apply next?
