UWG Summer 2014

Hi everyone...

I just wanted to start a thread for anyone applying to University of West Georgia Nursing School starting Summer 2014. We can all support each other and share the information and updates that we know of. I am a current sophomore at UWG. Right now my GPA is at a 3.56. I will be eligible for the bonus given to students that have taken 15 or more hours at West Georgia. Last night I went and toured the new nursing building...awesome! Anyways... hope I can get some feedback! We need a support group!

I haven't received an email. I wonder if that means a denial letter is coming :-(

Either it's a denial or hopefully it was sent out to people who are currently at UWG... Those are the only people I heard getting the emails... Obliviously hoping for the second choice... But I haven't gotten one either

@kjewel36, don't worry. They probably are sending to people who are currently attending. I wouldn't worry about it.

I haven't given up hope :-) thanks for kind words :) I am not attending currently so maybe that is it......

I got my "letter" aka email last night... I at first thought it was a terrible april fools joke, but when others got one I almost screamed (lord knows I don't want to wake up my 2 year old haha).

Congrats to all who got in, if not, keep your chin up... the CNA deadline and fast response to invitation might open some seats for you!

I just spoke to the admission office. She said just because you haven't received an e-mail does not mean that you were not accepted. She said wait on your letter, give it until April 8, then if you haven't received a letter by then give them a call and they will see about getting you another letter.

Ok @CoopRN thanks for the info. Hopefully people will get letters in the mail today.
