  1. @river_song, ironically, I just looked at the website for LaGrange College, and that price tag makes me super nervous, especially since I am out of financial aid. I think it's worth a try though. And yes you are right SUPER CONGRATS on the future rns of 2016!!!
  2. @jonesel9 when I was accepted to armstrong, I had a 78 on the teas. Me and that teas are not friends, I have taken that test 7 times...lol...don't judge me...lol but the last time I took it was in February, I got an 80. It's not the easiest test. Middle Ga and Columbus State require the HESI, which is much easier than the TEAS. Well I am hoping and praying for you to make it into nursing school at some point in the near future, no matter what please do not give up!!
  3. The lowest gpa that I saw was Keondra, she said hers was a 3.3. Idk...@jonesel9, did you apply to any other schools?
  4. @jonesel9 I did not put all my eggs in one basket, so I applied to other schools in addition to UWG. I applied to clayton state, middle ga (macon), kennesaw state, and columbus state (columbus, ga). Hopefully, one of the other schools will have some good news. uue0060 is right about Armstrong, I was actually accepted there, and they do have an accelerated program, but the deadline has passed. Mercer aka GA Baptist is still open until May, but that 10,000 price tag makes me nervous, but it may be the only option.
  5. @kjewel thats what my letter said too...qualified but denied...smh. Which is quite ironic because they really don't have any minimum requirements. *shrugs* no worries guys it will all work itself out...this is not the end...
  6. @rnturnbough no problem...it has me a little anxious, not receiving an email and all, but many congrats to those whom have already been accepted!!
  7. I just spoke to the admission office. She said just because you haven't received an e-mail does not mean that you were not accepted. She said wait on your letter, give it until April 8, then if you haven't received a letter by then give them a call and they will see about getting you another letter.
  8. No, I am not currently attending UWG.
  9. Hi Rayers1, I will also be applying to UWG Fall 2014. I graduated from Clayton State University in 2007, with a degree in Biology. My GPA is 3.1, and you are soooooo right about needing support. I look forward to this nursing school journey!
  10. @ K I do not have enough post to pm either...however, I will be in Savannah Thursday, Friday, and Saturday until one pm.
  11. @KatazuiFour zero fourFour three threeThree five eight one
  12. @ katazui That's fine I will be in Savannah Friday night and Saturday morning as well.
  13. Hey everyone, I received my acceptance letter as well. Suuuper excited! I was wondering about housing off campus and I saw that a few of you all were interested in off campus housing. I live in Atlanta now, I will be coming down to Savannah a day early to look into living arrangements. If anyone is still interested in arrangements then we could possibly look together.
  14. hey everyone I applied to GA Highlands, but I am missing a pre-req, I am not sure if I will be able to get acceptedwithout the pre-req. It's the communications class, I so hope that I will be able to still hoping I get a chance...anywho...good luck to you all! Hopefully, we will be together next year!!
