UW ABSN Summer 2017

Hi all!

I am applying in fall for the 2017-2018 cohort and I know I am making this post pretty early but I am super anxious about this whole process! I would love and be so thankful for any advice, statistics, and info about personal experience/academic background from previous applicants/alumnis. I would also love to meet the people who are applying right alongside me! It is always great to have support. :)

Anyone else hear anything yet?

Looking back on last year's thread, it sounds like those of us who didn't get a phone call still have a chance to be on the waiting list. Looks like we still have to play the waiting game a little bit longer!

When I called the office, they told me that if I haven't heard by 5pm today something probably got lost or went wrong. :/

I'm confused becuase I thought they would call to let me know even if I don't get in. I might call them around 5pm..

Ya lets just all keep each other updated, it's shocking that none of us have heard back at all. We still have 40 minutes !

Yes- definitely agree to keep each other posted! I was assured on the phone yesterday that we would know either way by 5pm. So it is certainly very weird that so many of us don't know. I think they close the office AT 5pm so if you call you might want to call a little before that. Frustrating that it's nearly the weekend so if we don't find out we'll have to wait through the weekend! I know it's no one's fault... I'm just so nervous!

Last year they mailed the denial and wait list letters through US mail after they had made all the acceptance phone calls. Maybe they're doing that again this year.

Definitely a bit nerve wracking. I need to be at the hospital for my volunteer shift in a half hour and this is throwing me off my game. Given that so many folks haven't heard anything something must be going sideways.
