UTMB Summer 2018

I just wanted to start a group for those applying to UTMB nursing summer 2018 start! I didn't see a thread and figured there was some of us who could use one!

I have already taken my teas and will be submitting my application soon! This would be a great place for us to compare timelines and answer any questions I'm sure we all have! I look forward to hearing from other applicants.

I feel like I check it every minute. Its worse for us who were in the first wave of interviews because it would make sense that we find out first. Ahhhhh this is killing meeeee

I feel like its worse for us who haven't heard anything! At least some of you have been interviewed, the rest of us are inthe dark.

I was told by my interviewer (who said she is on the admissions committee) that they committee doesn't meet until the 13th of this month and that I wouldn't hear anything before this day. Idk how true this is, but this is what she told me. I interviewed 11/3/2017.

So why do you think our mystar was changed? Any thoughts?

From what I've heard from other applicants and read on past forums, seeing a list of your remaaining prereqs is a good sign!!

Yeah I was just wondering why it would be changed so soon if they haven't met yet.

What if you don't have remaining prerequisites, is that considered bad?

So my interview is this Friday, the 10th..does that mean if the committee meets on the the 13th everyone that interviewed up until the 10th should be looked at? Any opinions guys lol?

Also. Does this mean interviews are over andrhe final 90 will be decided on the 13th?

When I received my email, there were slots nov 17, 20 and dec 4. So, I'm guessing they are still in the process of interviewing more people? I'm not sure, your best bet would be to call

Definitely wouldn't say that. They will probably meet ever few weeks.

Popping in on this thread for the first time. I have browsed lightly over so please forgive me if I am asking obvious questions. Do we have a sense of what round of interviews they are on? I applied to an ADN program and was accepted for Spring 2018. I need to respond by Nov20 but I am still holding out for UTMB summer. Trying to gauge what I should do.
