  1. Popping in on this thread for the first time. I have browsed lightly over so please forgive me if I am asking obvious questions. Do we have a sense of what round of interviews they are on? I applied to an ADN program and was accepted for Spring 2018. I need to respond by Nov20 but I am still holding out for UTMB summer. Trying to gauge what I should do.
  2. Wow. That is a lot of assumptions about a fellow classmate who has done nothing to indicate he needs a DO.
  3. Does anyone remember how many spots UTMB had in the fall semester vs the spring semester?
  4. Low score plus withdraws, low grades, repeats...
  5. Fairly confident. I seem to remember them saying this at an open house.
  6. I don't think there is a limit. It's kind of financially limiting IMO, at $100/pop but I don't think ATI will ever turn you away. UTMB can see all of your attempts though.
  7. Congratulations!!! So exciting!!
  8. If your school offers tutoring, I would go in and chat with them about what is covered. Maybe sitting down with someone can help with test taking skills. You've got this!
  9. You are welcome to not answer and please don't take offense, but is English not your first language?
  10. I vote for retaking the TEAS. If you can do that and resubmit by the deadline for fall, then great. Otherwise, I'd wait for fall. Requires means requires.
  11. I'm not sure that I entirely agree. I definitely agree that drops are unofficially looked at and not favored. However, if you don't have a ton of drops on your record, maybe one is not a huge deal. Second, I am not sure it matters for this application cycle or even next application cycle. If you don't get in, will you reapply for summer 2018? If you do apply for summer 2018, the deadline is still before you could finish it anyway. Is a drop without a repeat worse than a C without a repeat? I tend to think not. I honestly think I'd stick it out for the remainder of the semester, because even if you get a C, the knowledge of what sticks with you, if you retake it, will only help you. Micro taken twice, first with a C, then an A, vs Micro taken twice, first with a drop, then an A... that seems like six of one, half a dozen the other to me. Just my opinion...
  12. I have Maxine Lane. Love her.

  14. How funny. I am at San Jac South. I avoided Central to avoid your professor. We have an amazing teacher. Love her. I wish I would have done my prerequisites at UH. But yeesh it is so expensive. Just two more weeks. We got this!
