UTMB Summer 2018

I just wanted to start a group for those applying to UTMB nursing summer 2018 start! I didn't see a thread and figured there was some of us who could use one!

I have already taken my teas and will be submitting my application soon! This would be a great place for us to compare timelines and answer any questions I'm sure we all have! I look forward to hearing from other applicants.

I have obviously already turned in my application and taken the teas, but I ended up taking the teas this morning and did slightly better than my first attempt. Does anyone know if we they will take my new scores if I send them over? I have heard mixed things about it and was just curious.

No I don't believe they will. I tried to send them transcripts from my summer 2 course and they said it wouldn't be calculated or looked at if I had already submitted an application. They said they have too many applicants to let everyone submit things after deadline.

I haven't heard anything yet, I'm wondering when the last round of interviews is going to happen with the upcoming holiday.

I feel like I check it every minute. Its worse for us who were in the first wave of interviews because it would make sense that we find out first. Ahhhhh this is killing meeeee

If you had to guess do you think we will find out before thanksgiving?

I was told by my interviewer (who said she is on the admissions committee) that they committee doesn't meet until the 13th of this month and that I wouldn't hear anything before this day. Idk how true this is, but this is what she told me. I interviewed 11/3/2017.
