UTMB Spring 2012

Hey Guys!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!

I'm in the Dickinson/League City area and would definitely be interested in a carpool and Meet and greet! Sounds fun! Congrats to everyone who heard good news today : )

for those who haven't heard back yet, DON'T LOOSE HOPE!!! They are likely not even close to being done, the interviews drug on for quiet a while for our class. I have two people in my clinical group that got accepted three days AFTER orientation had already started!!! What's that saying? It's not over until the fat lady sings?? :) I felt like I would NEVER get a call - waiting sucks, I know that well!! But hang in there, okay??

Cristina, your scores sound a lot like mine. UTMB is weird though, they have no [identifiable ] system on how they accept students - scores are all over the place. I had an entire semester of Fs (and they were major science courses!!)

well that gives me hope lol!!! i dont care if am the last person accepted lol!!! :) thanks :)

@sunshine im glad to know there's someone who knows how i feel. I just hope we get a chance. I feel like I'm being pretty realistic thinking that my 3.65 gpa and 88 on teas would at least get me an interview but who knows...

maybe they havent seen ur application!! u got really good scores!! you might just get admitted!! dont lose hope!!!

I just got my acceptance email today around 2ish!!!

It only took them two days (from my interview) to accept me. I was amazed lol

Hey guys... I also got my acceptance email today!!! It was around 2 and i interviewed on wednesday. Congrats to all who are in and everyone else keep your head up. I really was not too confident about my interview but im still so excited. I can't wait to meet everyone!!!

i felt the same way i thought that the interview was short and not detailed enough but i guess it worked out for us :)

Yes... I swear mine was so short and once I left I felt like I should have said so much more. But oh well congrats!
