UTMB Spring 2012

Hey Guys!

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for all UTMB Galveston's Spring 2012 traditional bsn applicants. Have you all started to apply yet or at least looked at the application? What do you think? How are your personal statements/testing going? If you guys have anything worth discussing please post and good luck to all!

Nothing here yet either. I applied June.

3.78 Overall / 4.0 Sciences

89 Teas

We shall see. I know people that didn't get in to UTMB Fall 2010 but were accepted to both TWU and UTHSC, which is interesting. They obviously weight criteria differently.

Yeah, I haven't gotten anything but I'm a 4.0 overall/ 4.0 science, and I made in the mid-to-upper 90's on the TEAS. I don't remember my exact score but I was in the top percentile.

Yay, so excited! I received my interview information yesterday! I have my interview Sept. 9th. :) Wonder what kind of questions they will ask?

Congrats to those who have already received interview invites - but be prepared for even more waiting after that is done :)

For the rest of you, just hang in there! They do the invites in batches, so the emails/phone calls will continue for WEEKS and even through orientation!! Stay on top of the school, call every other week or two just to make sure your application is complete and has been or will be reviewed. There is no rhyme or reason to how the do the invites, so don't worry about when you applied - doesn't make a difference :)

Hope you meet you all soon - we'll be graduating together :)

@punkydoodles have you started classes yet? I'd love to hear how they're going! And thanks for the encouragement. I noticed from previous semesters' threads that things seem to be all over the place at UTMB LOL.
