thanks for the warm welcome everyone! yes- i was a "lurker"-lol. keep up hope! i had pretty much given up hope after reading that so many people on here had received their invite- but then i got it!! apparently they are still reviewing files. my interview is for the generic program is at 2:30.

was there talk that there might not be enough applicants for the bacc 2 program?

OMG, I still have not recieved an invite but thats o.k. I am still excited for you all.

Virginia I had such a blast at my moms party. I forgot I could laugh so hard at people without rhythm. Theys were trying to do the superman and everything it was so funny and one lady was doing the swim.

Jade stay hopeful, God may not grant your wish when you want it but he is always on time.

Hey, I still have not seen Emag. What the hey? I hope everything is all well.

Ok guys, I am just catching up on all the post, I was so far behind and reading from back to front.

Now lets make a rule u cannot ridicule other people about switching programs and taken up spot if you are excepted in one program but still trying to get another spot in another. Because than you are doing the samething. You know what I mean, I'm just saying.

I love this chat room the people on here are so funny, this should be an interesting group to be with.

oooh..ok Jade and I was just saying you are not alone in your worries...cause the more folks UTMB transfers from BACC2 to generic..the fewer spots for us..(no offense BACC2 we love you!)

We definately need to get together after we all get our invites...I'm logging on early tomorrow in anticipation of some more good news! :smilecoffeecup:

Sorry guys, I woulda stayed in BACC2 if I coulda! If it helps, I bet it means that the interview invites are even more of a big deal (vs. UTHouston, who interviews like 800 people). You guys are gonna rock out. Only 4 days!!!!!!

yes.... we so need to celebrate. i'm with you jazzy and thanks for the inspiration. i will keep pushing for my dream and eventually live it. i do believe in waiting on the lord his time is not the same as ours. i am enjoying the responses and just overall excited for everyone getting interviews and acceptances.

Hey guys! I made it into the BACC 2 program! Yay! I also was able to find a place to live that is literally 2 blocks from the nursing school. For those of you looking for a place to live I have some places you can look at.

There is www. apartments.com Just follow your way to Galveston

Also, we were able to find our place on http://www.thehousecompany.com

Our place is a little old school with the appliances, but we got a huge 2 bedroom for 600 a month. Can't beat that!

yeah caseytate!!! congratulations!!! i can't remember..when did you interview? did they email you with your acceptance? that is a great rent...when are you guys moving?
