Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.

I just wish I would be given the CHANCE to interview! That's what's silly! At least give us the CHANCE!

I agree, I dunno what passing up on 4.0 is all about.A lot of us work hard to maintain high GPAs because the nursing programs are so competitive.There whole process is just so disorganized.

Don't worry I'm sure you will hear something.And by the looks of things they will continue holding interviews until they fill up all of the spots since I'm sure many ppl will choose other schools since they are taking so long to tell everyone. Have to applied to any other programs?

mau00- I have not applied to any other programs. I applied here because it was my top choice and no entrance exams were required at the time.

Don't loose hope guys!:) Has anyone called to see if they are done sending generic BSN interview emails out? Yeah, It sucks that UTMB is ganna start their entrance exam next applications period.It would make it alot easier if all of the nursing school in the state just used the same entrance exam if they insist on doing entrance exams.It's a waste of money and creates more complications by taking a different exams for every nursing program.

Sorry for the late response, I'm at work. Yes I got the email this morning at 9:41am. I posted here first thing! My interview is at 11:30. Remember the lady last week told me that they will send out invites mon. & tues. I know what you guys are feeling, I nearly lost hope! Good luck, you will get one too!!!

I can understand e-mails wil go out today and tomorrow. I just find it a bit odd that only 1 person got an e-mail today. Usually a few lurkers would have came on and given us a heads up.

That's ok albkat...My interview is at 1130 also, they must have more than 2 interviews per hour. They got us stacked up!

Hmm that makes sense now that they are doubling up. Ahh we will be going through it together literally! so exciting! Good luck! They are accepting 60 in Bacc2, 70 in Generic.

Maybe cause I was a Bacc2 applicant that they sent mine out earlier than yall? just guessing.

Yup..we will be there together, but im BSN generic only and mine came on 11/6.

I thought maybe it was alpha order, order of application, or even how many pre prequ's we had left...but who knows..It could just be each interviewer got a stack of applications and they are sending out invites at random when they get to them!

so 1 BACC2 and 1 GENERIC AT 1130...OK

Hi everyone!!! I received my interview invite today!! I can't wait to meet all of you! I have been reading all of your posts for months and want to thank everyone for all of the advice! Y'all are one great group and the way you all support each other is amazing!
