Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.

Guys those odds are REALLY good. If that little amount of people apply and they let in that many...your odds are great. I am also applying to UT Houston and 80 out of 1000 get it if that makes you feel any better. With the odds at UTMB...if you have good grades youre more than likely gonna get in. Everyone relax.....I am shocked by small the applicant pool is there compared to UTH. That make me feel WAAAAYYYY better. Its almost a sure thing if you do the math. UT is less than a 10% chance of getting in.....UTMB is like what 75-80%. Be thankful the odds are in our favor BIG TIME

Actually my math was off. So out of 330 or so 130 are getting in. You have a one in 3 shot before you even go to the interview. Look at it like this I have less than 10% chance of getting n to UTH- They have 1000 applicants 250-300 are interviewed and from there after you interview you have less than a one in 3. So to already be at 33% without an interview is awesome

I understand completly where your coming from Katielou I have to move from Dallas if I get in & I need to find an apt asap!! Bc I dont wanna live in the dorms...I looked at them when I went in July & they werent the best ha ha. So I need to get things together soon. And with the holidays coming up thats just extra added stress!

I just NOW got an email from the office of enrollment stating that my application had been processed. Did anyone else recieve this email today? Does this mean they just NOW got to my application?

I received the same email. I thought it was in answer to an email sent last week, but perhaps not. I checked e-connect afterward and it says something about TSI not received. Does anyone know what that is about?

TSI is the Texas Success Initiative (like the THEA test or college entrance test). I would contact enrollment and see what they need from you.

YAY..I got one too:

"Your application for admission has been processed, but a final decision has not been made. If you would like to verify that all documents have been received and processed, you may do so on the web using UTMB e-Connect"

Heh, I got one today too, the day AFTER they sent me an interview letter for the BACC2 program. :-P I have an interview Friday... yippeeeeeeee!
