yes my blackboard also says i am not enrolled in any classes...i guess its cuz we haven't paid yet.. i dunno but it says my registration was complete so i know im registered at least. does anyone know if we can bring someone with us on the 14th?

does anyone know when or how we are going to be finding out what time our next orientations on the 14th and 15th are?

Mau00 I am in the same situation with my loan award too. I hope we don't have to pay for anything Tom.! I wish our funds would be available sooner just to be safe!

Does anyone know if we need to bring money for anything? like scrubs? arent we ordering all that stuff? i already have a bp cuff and stethoscope but i know we need lots of things..

Hello all! Well i am supposed to have my UTMB interview Friday but I have really been thinking about just cancelling it tomorrow because I have pretty much chosen TWU already I think. Does anyone know how old our Hep B shots can be..the sheet doesn't specify so i guess as long as you have them? I just have to get a varicella titer and my TB so I am going to get started on that this week. I am so ready for school to start...nervous but ready. I was previously enrolled in an associates degree program. During i had surgery and complications after surgery led me to fail my Med Surg class by ONE POINT! I could have retaken to start again but i chose not to go back there. it really sucked but to be honest the program was not all that great and I am glad it happened because it has led me to this wonderful opportunity. I feel from that i know alot of what to expect starting january though as far as clinicals and stuff. the tests are really different and HESI tests are too! we had to have hesi every 8 weeks in my program and it was weighed as a test grade..really sucked..and everyone always did so horrible. Does anyone know/heard about TWU hesi testing??

Ali523- supposably it only takes like a week after your interview to know if your in or not.

hello! i just wanted a little advice...i just got invited for interview at UTMB..and even though that doesn't mean ill get in i just don't know if i should go because i already accepted TWU's offer..what would you do? which school do you think is bettter and why? TWU is more convenient for me but UTMB was always my first choice..

toasterbell - yes the only reason i would turn down UTMB if given the offer would be the commute..its like an hour and 15 mins for me versus 30-40 for TWU. Not that big of a difference but i know it will be when i start driving it everyday..I have heard so many wonderful things about UTMB and how dedicated they are to students' success there is what made me really want to go there. As far as TWU, I know its a good school, i just haven't heard that many things about it maybe because its smaller? i really don't know. But i did like the fact that i didn't have to interview it was just straight up acceptance. Im just going to have to think about it for a little bit today and decide if i even want to go and take someone elses spot for the opportunity...do any of you know any major differences in the schools?

I know i just don't know if i should even go to waste my time and take someone else's opportunity if i know i may not accept the offer if i get it. I just don't know much about either schools but i do know that TWU is alot more convenient for me and i already got awarded a loan from them. what would you do???????????

what if we don't have proof of our chicken pox vaccine? i cant find mine...its not on my school record, i may have to see if my family physician from when i was little still has it on file but what do i do if i can't get it?
