Hey guys Im making this thread so all of the applicants for UTMB Spring 2010 can follow each other through the process and help each other out! The application deadline is coming up soon! Goodluck to all!:nuke: I know they are only exepting 60 for the spring.

Emag I don't know how to PM on this thing-lol. But I would like to read the email with the details. Maybe you could PM me a copy of the email. Thanks for getting all of that great information! I am kinda worried because I sent all of my forms to the address on each page not in one packet. I bet it doesn't matter. Thanks for the help!

cjack15...I did the same thing and they got all of my packets.

Also, I just called them and they said they were going to send an e-mail for the location for where we are supposed to show up.

Hey everyone in the BACC 2 program. I wrote the director of the program today about a few unclear things thought you might want to know. I wrote the following...

"I was wondering if you might be able to answer a question regarding the curriculum. According to online the classes we take in the Spring are Seminar:Professional Nursing Practice I, Health Assessment, Nursing Research, Pharmacology, Introduction to Professional Nursing Practice, Integrated Concepts of Pathopysiology and Pharmacology in Nursing, and Adult Nursing. Will we be registering for these classes at orientation? Will we automatically just be placed in these classes? I was wanting to go ahead and start buying my books so I had them and have the list according to the bookstore. I am just trying to make sure I do not buy a book when I might not be in that class."

She wrote back...

"This is a good question, I will send you the booklist, BACC2 Spring calendar/Classes, and the curriculum, when I get all the students that been accepted in the program. I may send it to all of you by the 2nd week of December.

Ms ****** will register all the students in the BACC2 program.

Please let me know if you have any question-Have great day-SA"

So it looks like we dont have to worry about getting in classes, and they will do it for us.

hey guys good news... I GOT IN!!!! I called mrs. L back yesterday and left a message on her machine. she called me back at 11:30ish while i was in my ethics class. i ran out of my class and answered the call. she wanted to know how my classes were going then at the end she said well i guess i can put you in the acceptance pile!!! i totally freaked out!! i'm so happy i got in! any one going to take CPR certification this sat. around houston? :yeah:

to everyone else I got accepted Friday and my online status just changed, I accepted but it looks like nothing else changed

anyone find any good scholarships? I have applied to any and everything on fastweb!

Hooray! My status finally changed in e-connect :-). Does anyone know how to access our financial aid stuff? I was hoping that my P# would get me in, but that doesn't appear to be the case.

Congrats to all those who got accepted. I found out I was accepted on Friday like most of you and when I found out I was over the moon to say the least. I was a long road for me to UTMB.

I applied for summer 2009 session some time in April of 2008 but for whatever reason, UTMB lost my application or it got caught up the shuffle. Whatever the reason, they didn't consider my application when they reviewed the others. After months of headaches, they told me that I would be considered for the Fall of 2009.

Unfortunately I was waitlisted, my application rolled over once again.

They messed up and ALMOST forgot my application again for the Spring of 2010, but I followed my gut and called like it was going out of style.

I guess the 3rd time really is a charm because I finally got in. I'm looking forward to making this journey with all of you. We are about the experience some serious highs and lows but it will all be worth it in the end.

Is anyone commuting? I am but that might change since I live in Pearland, but I don't know how easy it will be to find a place on the Island.

all i do is use it for an alarm and calendar...and look at it and say "remember when." you can have it. just take care of my baby...sniff sniff...
