UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

Is anybody on here applying for the summer?

Congrats Shelby! I actually called them today and the lady told me that she is picking people off the wait list. Although I couldn't get her to tell me any specifics of whether there was a time frame or where I may have been on the waitlist but yes, there is hope!

congratulations!! That's such great news. I'm still waiting to hear back. Hopefully I get off wait list and get accepted soon. Do you mind telling us how you found out? Was it through email?

They let me know through email. Although my case was a little different. She was missing a transcript from the summer so she called to ask me to resend it. Then as soon as I did, she sent a congrats email.

I'm applying for the Fall 2015 and I would like to know how did y'all study for the TEAS? Was the study guide helpful, or is there any websites y'all would recommend. Thank you and congrats to all of y'all who have been accepted! ?

I was accepted for Fall 2014 in the first wave of interviews. I just studied the ATI book and did a few of the practice test. I had a 75 Comp, 3.8 GPA and lots of job shadowing hours in the OR and LD.

Thanks! Is the science section all together? (A&P, Chemistry, & Bio) or are they separated in different sections? For how long did you study for the exam?

Science is all one section. I studied for a week or so and took it.
