Published

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

what day is orientation for UTMB?

Thanks! I wish the greatest good luck to everyone!

Hey everyone. I had my interview on Sept 16th and have currently been waiting 2 weeks and a day for a reply back! I'm so nervous! Tbh, I was very surprised UTMB considered me. I have a 3.0 overall GPA, a nursing GPA of 3.2 and a TEAS score of 75. My interviewer told me I could email her if it took longer than two weeks to hear a reply from UTMB. Should I email her? I don't want to seem too desperate. And congrats on everyone being accepted. I am really really hoping that I get in too... I didn't apply anywhere else & I am eager to start nursing school!

for those of you on the waiting list, are you applying again to start in summer? or waiting until you know for sure about spring?

Have you heard back yet? I'm on my 3rd week of waiting and still have had nothing. I'm debating if I should email my interviewer. She told me I could if it took more than 2 weeks!

Good Morning Ladies/Gents,

To those of you on the waitlist, I have some good news--I have given up my spot at UTMB. I was accepted into my first choice school, TWU Dallas. I am very excited that one of you gets the opportunity to attend UTMB though!

For those of you who haven't heard anything, don't get discouraged. I applied to UTMB for a Fall spot and was rejected. I retook my TEAS, increased my score by 9 points, and have been accepted to all of the programs that I applied for this semester. I also want to point out that my GPA isn't the strongest. I've failed two classes years ago that hurt my GPA bad (important pre nursing classes too). If I can get in, you can get in too!!

Best of luck to all of you!

How many semesters is the TWU program?

It's 4 semesters, with breaks in between. I'm one of those people who's going to have to manage working and going to school at the same time, so I feel like a slower paced program with breaks is what I need.

Anyone waitlisted get accepted yet?
