  1. It's 4 semesters, with breaks in between. I'm one of those people who's going to have to manage working and going to school at the same time, so I feel like a slower paced program with breaks is what I need.
  2. Good Morning Ladies/Gents, To those of you on the waitlist, I have some good news--I have given up my spot at UTMB. I was accepted into my first choice school, TWU Dallas. I am very excited that one of you gets the opportunity to attend UTMB though! For those of you who haven't heard anything, don't get discouraged. I applied to UTMB for a Fall spot and was rejected. I retook my TEAS, increased my score by 9 points, and have been accepted to all of the programs that I applied for this semester. I also want to point out that my GPA isn't the strongest. I've failed two classes years ago that hurt my GPA bad (important pre nursing classes too). If I can get in, you can get in too!! Best of luck to all of you!
  3. I just got my acceptance letter!! I can't wait to meet you all in January!!!
  4. I'm also waiting to hear back from TWU Dallas before I make my final decision.
  5. Hey Guys, Congratulations on being waitlisted. Out of curiousty, on your waitlist email does it say that you'll receive automatic acceptance into the Fall?
  6. lhampton7, I think just like you, I am waiting on TWU Dallas as well. You can always reserve your spot with whatever school you get accepted to first, and then take a hit (because you won't get the deposit back). I've already been accepted to one school, but there's no way I can afford to lose a total of $700 on deposits to hold spots if TWU ends up accepting me, so I had to drop out of applying for UTHSCSA. Good luck to everyone! I hope you all hear good news at the end of the month!
  7. Each school is different but I know that some require you to not only have the document showing the dates of the shots, but also have a supporting titer done. Same thing for the chicken pox (if you've had the disease naturally), you'll have to get a titer to show proof of that as well.
  8. Rn2b2016:), I took my TEAS test at that exact location in May. I took it on a Saturday around 2pm, and had my scores back by Sunday evening. It shouldn't take too long for you to get yours back. Hopefully you did great!
  9. I just received that second email. Last name begins with "Ha".
  10. My interview was on July 3rd (accepted August 11th). I have a 3.2 overall GPA, Science GPA is around a 3.4 and I scored a 93.3 on my TEAS.
  11. I got accepted too!!! It's been almost 6 weeks since my interview, so don't give up hope! It can still happen!!
  12. Zurie, You and I are having similar experiences with this whole application process. We both applied and got rejected for the Fall and then had interviews on the first week for the Spring application period. I have not heard back from my interview as well (and I didn't get an additional invite like you did...so weird haha). I did want to recommend you get in contact with the lady who signed off on your rejection letter last application period. I don't want to say her name, but I emailed her on Tuesday and she ended up asking me for some scores that weren't reported on my application (because I wasn't done with the classes when I reapplied). So hopefully that will push my application through. Try it and see what she says!
  13. Congratulations!!! Mine hasn't changed yet either. I'm on pins and needles now!
  14. It went really great. Just like you said, it was extremely causal. I found out that this is just a first wave of interviews and that they are going to go on for the next 8-10 weeks, so don't lose hope of you haven't heard anything yet!
  15. Thanks! It's going to be a long day tomorrow. I'll let you all know how it goes.
