UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

They have a traditional admission cycle for summer too, for those who don't want to wait to reapply for Fall.

First of all I know some people who got waitlisted last fall were automatically accepted in the Spring admission. Lets just hope the same will work for you. Again, I am sure there will be some who will not accept their admission and that will be a space for thosewho have been waitlisted. Being on the waitlist is better than being rejected. Wish y'all the very best.

hi guys!! This is my first post on the thread. I got wait listed today. I honestly wasn't even expecting that much! I didn't think my grades were good enough to get in. My GPR is like 3.2 I think. My TEAS is about an 85 total. I want to let people know... perfection isn't mandatory! They value both academic AND personal stability. I want to wish everyone good luck in the future!! Congratulations to those who were accepted!! I may apply again in 2015. I want to work a little after I graduate. Hopefully they will still consider me a good applicant! :)

I'm waiting on reply from UT Austin and UTHSC Houston before I know for sure.

Hey everyone! I've been reading a long but this is my first post. If it is, why is UTMB your number one choice? I'd love to hear everyone's opinions and why they want to go here over UTHHSC or TWU Houston. Let me know and congrats to those who got in!

I was accepted by UTMB and I'm waiting to hear back from UT health. If i get accepted into UTHealth I will decline and stick with UTMB. I researched both schools and what people thought of both schools and found a lot of information that was useful to me.

Can you elaborate? What made the difference for you? I'm trying to decide between a few schools and I like hearing what people think.
