UTMB Spring 2015 Applicants

Hey Y'all,

I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.

Hello everyone. I just wanted to see how Y'all were doing and if you have received your supplemental application yet.

I also received my supplemental today too. I'm surprised that it sent out faster this cycle than the Fall cycle.

I received everything very quickly. My transcripts were in NCAS within a week of sending them (this past Tuesday) and my GPA was calculated within 12 hours of paying my fee. Just submitted my supplemental, and now the wait begins.

It does seem like everything is happening much faster than the Fall application. I also submitted my supplemental and the waiting game begins.

I was told less people apply for Spring admissions so that might be a factor in the speediness of everything.

Also, there are several students who are already in for Spring (wait listed for Fall). Good luck y'all!

No, I didn't interview. My understanding is that a few are automatically accepted, a lot are automatically denied (really low GPA's, for example) and the rest get interviews.

Quick question for those of you who had submitted your supplemental last week, have you guys received your mystar info yet? I submitted mine last friday and have no received an email yet to access mystar.

I submitted mine on Friday, as well. Still haven't received anything from mystar.
