  1. Going to agree with the past few commentors. Putting more work (think quality vs quantity) into your unit will be more beneficial. I got in this cycle with 3 years of MICU experience.
  2. @CICU.RN, congrats! @littlefrogbutt and I were also accepted as direct access candidates. January can't come fast enough!
  3. Sorry to go off track, but 120k as bedside RN? Damn. Are you in Cali and pulling crazy OT?
  4. Interviewed in late August. Still haven't heard back lol.
  5. Why would you put your phone number online.. Anyway, to OP, I agree with a few of the other posters. If you were in "good standing" as you say, then it seems odd that you wouldn't be able to get into another program. My best advice is to try to get along with everyone even if you don't vibe with them, especially if it's you're program director. I've learned to just keep my mouth shut and bite my tongue to superiors.
  6. I'm not gonna tell you not to apply until your ready, but you should know the application process is very long. It's going to take a lot of your time and also money from you over several months and it would suck if you had to do it more than once. So maybe think twice about applying until you're truly ready to apply.
  7. Just found this thread. Anyone else interviewing?
  8. Don't give up. Best of luck to you Bryan
  9. So, when are we supposed to get the second email from wesleyan?
  10. I'm thinking this year's applicant pool might be smaller. about a month ago when I first started my application my recruiter told me only 1 other nurse in the entire greater houston area was applying. That may have changed, but who knows. By this time for last year and the previous years they were already at page 10 in the thread. lol Dang, I was hoping it would be in Ft Hood. That's where I'm from and the folks live there as well. Thanks, I'll post an update aftewards
  11. I got my interview dates.. Next week. Where is the location for this? I read from last year's thread it was in Ft Hood but for some reason was anticipating it to be in San Antonio. Same case this year? Also, this thread is dead in activity compared to like the last 3 cohorts' threads.. Are not many people applying this year or something?
