Hey Y'all,
I read through the whole UTMB Fall 2014 thread and thought I'd start the next semesters thread (because I couldn't find one). I know the application doesn't close until May 31st, but thought it would be helpful to start this now.
I got my acceptance letter! So excited! Good luck to everyone!! :)
congratulations! If you don't mind me asking, what were your stats, gpa and teas? I know some of us are curious to know our chances of getting in. It's so nerve racking and I just wanna know already :/ are you going to accept your admittance or are you planning on a different school?
Hey guys! I've been playing catch up with this forum!! I was a fall 2014 applicant reapplying for spring 2015. I have already received my supp application & mystar, but my mystar application status currently says incomplete :/ I've given them a call and they just said it should be complete now since they've received my teas scores… but that was 2 days ago and it still says incomplete. Anyway, I'm super nervous!!! My GPA did not change since the last time I applied, which were over so-so, but I did raise my teas scores from 74 to 80 and changed up my personal statement.
My Mystar also says that I am incomplete. I will be calling them on Monday for sure. My stats are 3.76 GPA and a 74% on the TEAS. Not incredible, but hopefully decent enough. I feel like my personal statement was really good. Anybody have any incite into my odds? Hope I see you all in the Spring!! Congrats to all who have already been accepted!
Your GPA's really good! I'm pretty sure it balances your TEAS scores out and it helps to have a really well written personal statement too! My GPA's 3.28 overall and 3.1 science :/ Not as competitive but I'm also hoping they'll be impressed with my personal statement too because I also think mine's pretty good.
Thanks y'all! I have a BS in Kinesiology and an MS in Recreation. Deciding to go back to school after being out of school for 5 years.
Undergrad GPA: 3.84
Graduate GPA: 3.92
TEAS: 80%
I also spent a lot of time on my personal statement, so I think that played a part.
I still have a few classes to take prior to enrollment and plan to take those this summer and fall. Good Luck to everyone!
P.S. Don't automatically think you're in or out based on my stats, because I know there are a lot of factors that they take into account. Just stay positive and hopefully I'll be seeing all of you in January.
