UTMB FALL 2019

The UTMB Fall 2019 application opens soon on November 15! Have you started on your essay or the TEAS preparation yet? I am so excited and nervous at the same time and have been stalking past threads on AllNurses.

Currently taking AP I and Microbiology and will be taking AP II in the Spring. I hope to take the TEAS by the end of December.

Please feel free to discuss your experience, stats, comments, etc.

Just received an email that said I am on the waitlist.

3.3 science, 3.5 overall, previous TAMU health degree, 89 TEAS

If you are put on the waitlist can you still potentially get asked to interview or you just stay on the waitlist?

Just recieved an email that I was placed on the waitlist...

GPA: 3.52

TEAS overall: 84%

I'm confused. Interviews haven't even been sent out right?

Soemone said they called UTMB and that they said they weren't doing interviews anymore? Wondering if this is true.

I just called UTMB and spoke with Elizabeth Botello. She stated they chose not to do interviews this semester. You will have to apply for spring semester if you so choose. She said after the deadline for those who get an acceptance email decide to accept or decline, then those who have been placed on the waitlist will begin to be pulled. No interviews. She wouldn't say the deadline they must hear back, what was it? After that we will begin to be contacted.

So the people who didn't get ANY EMAIL WHATSOEVER are just rejected as well? We just give them more money through reapplying? This is quite confusing
