UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

I was in the first wave (interviewed on the 13th) and still haven't heard back yet. Someone ^ said it would probably be around 2.5 weeks after the interview.

Ok well I just wanted to let everyone reading this thread now I just accepted today to UTMB Fall 2016 as an "Early Admissions" student!

I'm still waiting for my 1st choice Texas State St. Davids ( I go to Texas State) to get my notice of admission.

my stats for those reading:

3.84 overall gpa

3.6 science gpa ( I have only completed bio, chem, a&p1 with the lab because I go to Texas State)

90% TEAS

im a guy too so idk if thats helps

I interviewed on the 13th as well! I'm hoping by the end of this week we'll hear back!

thank you fam. And no, I didn't get an interview. I was kinda nervous because I was checking up on this thread and seeing people get interviews except me, but I guess I didn't get one because I was an early accepted applicant.

Mrs. Botello just called me back and said it could be another 4-6 weeks until we here back from them and that over 700 applicants applied

To hear from them for an interview, or acceptance/rejection?

I received a waitlist email last Friday; however, Ms. Botello called me today to inform me that I have been accepted into both summer and fall terms and have the opportunity to choose the one I prefer to be apart of. (Side note: I have only been accepted into both terms because I originally applied for fall but was given the chance to be considered for summer because of my "academic standing")
