UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

The second anyone finds out about first round interviews please post here! I'm checking my email like crazy.

I'm in the exact same with the Summer vs Fall start and interview-wise! I wish they would communicate with us at least to say they are still working through more interviews with maybe an expected day they'll be finished.

The same thing happened to me. They emailed me saying I could be considered to start in the summer vs the fall, unfortunately I had to turn it down as I'm still finishing classes. I had an interview with them over spring break for the first waive of applicants, but I still haven't heard anything else from them.

I interviewed on March 13th in the first wave and I am DYING to find out. I will post as soon as I hear anything!!

Same here. I turned down the summer opportunity and I'm hoping it didn't hinder my chances. I didn't interview until the 23rd, so I'm giving myself until the second week of April to start panicking :unsure:

Just had my interview. It was very laid back just as everyone else has said. I felt really good leaving but I don't want to be over confident or jinx myself. She told me it would be as long as six weeks from now but probably sooner.

I just received a conditional acceptance!!! I interviewed on 3/23!! So excited and good luck to all!

Congratulations egaribay97 ! I also got an acceptance letter this morning and I interviewed waaaay back on the 10th. My email was from Ms.Botello titled "Welcome to UTMB School of Nursing" so you guys know what to look for.

I GOT ACCEPTED!!!! I interviewed on 3/23 and received my conditional acceptance email this morning! Can't wait to meet all of you in August. This is happening!!!! AHHH! I'm so happy. Good luck to everyone still waiting on an answer or an interview. Don't give up hope, there's still plenty of time. Good luck good luck! :D

Congrats to all who have been accepted! I interviewed 3/28 and am constantly checking my email even though it's only been a few days... UTMB is my #1 choice but I've also been accepted to another program that requires a security deposit by the end of next week so hopefully I hear something soon!!
