UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

I got an email about an interview too, but won't be going because I was accepted to UT health program for the summer

I just scheduled my interview and the email stated the interview was for Fall admissions.

Well whenever you receive your email could you let me know if it says fall or summer admission interview?

I wonder if there is going to be another round of emails for interviews...does anyone know from past cycles?

There will be! I'm not sure how many. Perhaps 4..? That's my best guess looking at previous forums. Maybe UTMB could verify if someone called. And if anyone does, please let us all know. :yes:

From previous cycles it may be every 2 weeks for emails, so don't panic lol

Hey guys! I also received an interview invitation and I'm super excited! Does anyone know any information about the interviews? Like what questions they ask or how many people interview you? Just curious!

I'm checking my email 10 billion times a day. I should qualify for the honors program but I had to retake my TEAS after the deadline. Done with permission but I wonder if that will delay them looking at my application. Do they look at them in order of received or stats or random?

So if we haven't received an email about an interview should we just assume that we have been denied?

No these were only the 1st round of interviews.
