UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

Nah not yet. I think only first round have gone out. Maybe 2nd round next week

When I spoke to Ms. Botello yesterday she said they were just getting started and the process would be long so no, don't fret just yet.

I had my interview yesterday and it was pretty laid back! The questions asked were really simple, no trick questions. They are just really trying to get to know you and see how you handle different situations and how you work as a student. You will receive a email from the office of admissions telling you where to park and where in the building you must go.

I had mine on the on the 10th. The lady told me me since I had made it this far I am competitive and the interview was just to see if the school is a good fit for me. So don't freak out about the interview!

3-4 weeks but more like 4 if you had your interview around spring break!

Had my interview today! It is very laid back so do not stress on being super prepped for it. Know your personal statement well enough to be able to elaborate in case they ask about certain parts of it. To those who have interviews scheduled, best of luck and to those still waiting, praying that you hear something soon!

I as well have not received any email. Those that have, what is the receipt name on the email, or subject on the email. That way I do not accidentally delete it. I get a lot of emails and delete the ones I don't need. Also, did you guys get it regular email or junk?
