UTMB Fall 2017

Hi everyone!

I cannot believe it's actually time for me to apply to nursing school. It seems like I've been working on my pre-reqs forever now and it's finally here. I didn't see any utmb 2017 fall hopefuls yet so I thought I'd create a thread. I'm having one heck of a time with the application process. I'm taking my teas next Wednesday and submitting my application after that. Has anyone sent in their transcripts through nursingCAS yet? Anyone have any pre-reqs they still need to complete? I have one last semester to finish. Good luck to everyone applying this semester!

It's from the people who work in the administration office, so it's from a specific person. And the subject was "Fall 2017 Admissions for UTMB School of Nursing Program Invitation for Interview" and I received it in my regular email.

Has anyone heard about second round of interviews going out?

I was wondering the same thing. My guess is it'll be after they finish the first wave of interviews and this week is also spring break so it may be a skeleton staff. Lastly, scores update at the end of every month so they may be waiting on that as well. I'm thinking sometime within the next two weeks they should do another wave.

I haven't heard of anyone getting an email, but I'm sure it'll be soon. Maybe Monday it will start.

I spoke with Ms. Botello today and she said second waves have not gone out!

Did she have any indication of when? I feel like compared to past years this is really late..

Yea they said they will schedule interviews well into April.

This is a relief for me to hear. It's been over 2 monthes. I'm not sure who answers the phone when I call, but they continue to tell me to check my email and that they are still going through applicants. Hope we all hear some news from them soon! :yes:
