UTMB FALL 2014

For the honors scholarship, does UTMB have to email you to tell you that you're eligible to apply for it? Or can you go ahead and apply for it without them emailing you about it? Because I haven't received an email, but I meet the criteria to apply for it. So I'm not sure if I should apply for the scholarship or wait for an email from UTMB?

You can apply for it without receiving an email. The deadline is the 15th I think.

I got an email for an interview too! (: (:

I have been busy today and wish I checked my email earlier!!

However it does say:"Your interview has been scheduled during the weeks of November 4-15, 2013 at UTMB School of Nursing, Office of Student Affairs and Admissions"

Anyone else that received an email, did yours say that as well?

Yay Cassidy!!! Yes, mine said the same thing! It threw me off, but the guy I spoke to said it was an error, so no worries :)

I'm so behind you guys, I just received my mystar account this morning but my stats are pretty much like everyone elses so hopefully I will get asked for an interview soon. Congratulations to everyone who has an interview, I'm so excited for yall!:)

Hello everyone, I also received an invite to interview for Feb. 12. I apologize if these questions were already answered, but does anyone know if they will be group or individual interviews? Also, the UTMB website says the program is 4 consecutive semesters. Does this include summer leading to a Dec. 2015 graduation?

Congrats on the interview! I believe the interviews are individual interviews. The program would go through the summer, from what I understand, leading to Dec 2015 graduation. If you're not sure, that would be a question to bring up in the interview. :) Good luck!

I wouldn't stress. From what I've read on past forums, they do the interviews in waves, and some people get in without even having to interview. My NursingCAS application was complete by the beginning of December. However, I didn't take my TEAS until just before the application deadline.

UTMB received all my application on Jan 27. So I am nervous too, even though my stats are not as everyone on this forum. I'm just going pray for now!
