UTHSC Traditional BSN Spring 2014 Applicants

I have seen many threads for previous applicants for past semesters to the UT Houston School of Nursing. I wanted to start one myself as I am applying for the spring 2014 traditional BSN and have yet to find a thread for it. Although I opened it for applicants, I would also encourage previous applicants, current/previous students, and applicants for other semesters at UTHSC to join in and share in this exciting time!

We can also assume that of the 350-400 applicants who do qualify and turn in a complete application some of them will only have the bare minimum to get in. That also ups our chances. I'm getting so anxious to find out either way!!!

No problem! I was really excited to hear that also! They did talk about the Pacesetter program and said the students who have done it loved it. As far as the schedule she only spoke about the pacesetter schedule which is class usually from 8-4 and one clinical in the first two semesters, then no clinical in semester three and the final semester is all clinicals.

On the website it says that you'll be notified via mail, but previous applicants here on allnurses say they were notified via email first, then the myuth admission status was updated & finally they received the acceptance letter. I'm really hoping they don't make us wait for a letter!

No last semester they started getting acceptances October 15th, so it should still be around that time if not earlier because we had an earlier deadline

I haven't got my evaluation yet either, but some posted on last year's forum - got in without ever getting an evaluation. I really can't believe its only going to be a few weeks before some get to know.

Hey does anyone elses status still say incomplete? I send it all my transcripts with the excepts of the current classes I'm taking this Fall and I called and said that it'll say incomplete until halfway through this month, but it still says incomplete =\
