Hi everyone, I just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON students who are applying for Summer 2017. I didn't see a thread created for this term yet. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin this long journey. Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!
It seems like, if all your pre-requisites are complete and there are no questions regarding your eval, you do not receive it. The registrar makes one for every applicant the school requests. I was told that happens after they filter based on HESI scores.
This is not the case, those with all pre-reqs completed and no questions about our eval still receive the transcript evaluation.
Hi,
I was also at the info session last week. I was the person that asked about the foreign transcripts and also about the intensity of the summer course load. I applied in the Spring, was sent an eval, and told what courses I needed to complete. I've had my summer application in for some time now. Recently, I did a Fall app, as well. I have not received an eval this time around, but based on the last one, I'm confident I will have completed all of them by the end of this semester. Just waiting impatiently. Happy Valentine's Day!
Hello all,
I still have an "incomplete" status with a yellow triangle. No link and I have not received a transcript evaluation.
This past week I received back an email from the recruiting/alumni affairs staffer.
If anyone is in the same boat as me this may help you for Fall applications.
Took the HESI initially June 2016 under UTH's school code (two-attempt limit with their code).
Unsatisfactory math score, studied and retook December 2016 under HCC's school code.
Forwarded HESI score to UTH and sent application for Summer 2017.
When I called admissions to confirm receipt of HESI and transcript from college, I was told the HCC attempt counted against my two-attempt limit with UTH.
This is not what the website says, or information sessions have advised.
I emailed the contact from an online information session, and she confirmed no matter how many times you take with another schools code it will not count against you - even if you send the scores to UTH.
The whole point of this issue is; although I improved my HESI scores I don't feel it's competitive enough and wanted to re-apply for Fall with another attempt. However, I did not want to make it a futile attempt if they wouldn't accept the scores.
Hope this helps anyone with any HESI confusion.

They can't see your hesi record if u did take under other schools code, but the two times meant we only send our hesi record to UT health twice in the lifetime, so since u send the hesi record under HCC, they count it as second time。

I received one without asking, they just sent it. All my pre-requisites are completed and I have a complete status on my UTH student center. I am unsure why some get it and others do not. So even those who have a "complete" statu are getting them along with those with an "imcomplete". Just like the person above me said it before, it is a bit inconsistent.
