Hey guys, just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON hopefuls who are applying for Spring 2016. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin to play what seems to be the longest waiting game ever! I am more than confident that each and every one of us will be receiving our acceptance letters around this same time next year:) Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!
Thank you for all of the information. I will be applying for the Summer 2016, I'm about to finish my last 3 prerequisites for the nursing program. I'm extremely scared about the HESI test and the application process. Congratulations to all of the people who got accepted and to the ones who didn't, don't feel bad, keep on trying and moving forward.
I considered Lone Star College as my backup actually. Yes, their NCLEX pass rate isnt as high as I want it to be. But I have 2 things to say about this. First, the pass rate actually varies from campus to campus: Kingwood, Cy-Fair, North Harris... I dont remember which one is higher and lower anymore, but something to look into. Second, I believe a large part of NCLEX pass rate is what u put into it. 8 people out of 10 are doing something right, stick with them!
Rejection letter came today. I think all acceptances have gone out. Again congrats to those who made it!
How do you know that? I have not received anything. When did you receive your letter? Is there anyone still waiting to hear? There is still two weeks left. Based on previous cycles people hear up until November and even waitlist until mid December. I've applied more than this cycle. I still have hope. It's good to have a back up plan if you want to increase success.

I have not received anything yet either so you are not alone.

I am so sorry to hear that:( Are any of you reapplying for summer semester? If so, I really hope to see you join us. For those of you who are continuing on in another program I wish you the very best of luck!
