UTHSC Nursing Spring 2016

Hey guys, just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON hopefuls who are applying for Spring 2016. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin to play what seems to be the longest waiting game ever! I am more than confident that each and every one of us will be receiving our acceptance letters around this same time next year:) Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!

Y'all should check your mail boxes or whatever you have. I got a physical letter saying i was rejected.

I have yet to hear anything, so far no rejection or acceptance either via email or snail mail. Although my hope has mostly gone out the window at the moment, it's good to hear that it is possible more acceptances will be sent out throughout this month. Thank you for posting @Nurse2984.

I have not heard back anything either. I am prepared for the worst but hoping for the best. I have called and emailed the school and have heard nothing back in regards to the process for sending out acceptances and rejections. I'm hoping that no news is good news, but I feel in the pit of my stomach that it is not. Good luck to those of you still waiting, congrats to those of you who got in or waitlisted, and those who have been rejected, keep your chin up!!

Anyone on the waiting list get accepted?

I don't think you will hear back earlier than the 6th of November. The majority of us who received acceptance are given up to either 8 or 10 days to accept or decline. And since most of us weren't uploaded to their system to accept or decline until a couple of days before Halloween I don't think those on the waitlist will hear anything yet. So those on the waitlist don't freak out, because there is still time and a chance that you will hear something back very soon. Anyways, just thought I would try and keep those still waiting in the loop as much as possible. Hope this eases some of your stress.

Science Gpa is 3.5

Prerequisite GPA 3.6(I'm still taking 3 classes, so hopefully it will be higher than that)

Hesi 88

Critical Thinking is 850

Science GPA 3.5

Nursing GPA 3.4
