Hey guys, just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON hopefuls who are applying for Spring 2016. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin to play what seems to be the longest waiting game ever! I am more than confident that each and every one of us will be receiving our acceptance letters around this same time next year:) Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!

I was reading the forum from last year, and everyone on the waiting list got accepted either for spring, or summer. Some were notified by the first week of December, and others were notified on the first week of January. They also said there were only 20 people on the waiting list, according to one of the students who called admissions.

@bolvera I haven't received anything either- no physical mail, emails, or change in myuth.

My stats:

pre req GPA 3.7

science GPA 4.0

reading-94

grammar-100

vocab-96

math-100

a&p-88

critical thinking-920

Lacking nutrition & soci at the time I applied but in progress in those now.

I guess I got rejected since I haven't heard anything and there's already people on the wait list. I wish they would just tell me for sure so I can stop wondering!

Your stats are amazing. I'm scared that I may be rejected too. I'm hoping for an answer soon so that I can stop obsessively checking all forms of communication.

Thank you, our stats are very similar... Why won't they communicate with us?! Haha. Some people got rejected last week on that day they sent out that wave of emails. I know how you feel- I need for them to tell me for *sure* before I can get any relief!

At least I am not the only one compulsively checking myUTH, the mail, and constantly refreshing my emails. Also still just waiting over here. Hope we hear something soon.

Has anyone from the waitlist noticed how in all previous forums that all of the waitlisters either get accepted for their cohort or they get accepted to the next cohort? It brings a little hope to me
