UTHSC Nursing Spring 2016

Hey guys, just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON hopefuls who are applying for Spring 2016. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin to play what seems to be the longest waiting game ever! I am more than confident that each and every one of us will be receiving our acceptance letters around this same time next year:) Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!

@jmarg4 - Ok, not. cool! I called and asked and was told the same...that was 2 weeks ago!! If we're using their code how is that even possible. I wasn't worried about it for the same reason. I took mine at the Harwin location. Where did you take yours? I also emailed them before calling and nobody ever responded. If anything, I still have the printed copy of my scores with the locations' stamp/signature on it, if anything were to happen I have proof! Lol.

In regards to the hesi score still appearing on your to do list is apparently not considered a big deal. I spoke with someone in the SON office and they said that when the deadline arrives there will be a person who will go through each application and double check for all scores. She also said that what appears on the Myuth website is not what they see in their office. According to the SON office, it is the IT dept. that doesn't seem to keep the website up to date. Anyways, long story short I took my hesi in June and I still have it on my to do list. The advisor said they have my score and it isn't a big deal that the website says otherwise. So I guess I just have to take their word that all is fine. Hope this information helps some of you stress less. :-)

That's what happened to me too, but something told me that they have my scores. I even looked under admissions and it's complete.

Yes I forgot to mention that too. My status was also complete although hesi is still on my to do list.

@Winemo I e-mailed [email protected] but someone at SON admissions emailed me back. I cannot see a name or direct email. I just know that they emailed me back from [email protected]

Yay glad you guys all took care of yours. Finally spoke with the nicest lady who was filling in for a BSN counselor (forgot to ask for her name) and she said she isn't sure why they emailed me saying they didn't have my scores and that they do have my scores. That was scary, hope I didn't freak/stress anyone out btw!

Hi all!!! I'm new to the group. I don't remember my Hesi breakdown but my overall was 92% :) yay! CT were 820

My gpa's:

overall 3.4

science 3.5

So just ok. My status is complete so it's just a waiting game now. A long long waiting game lol. Good luck everyone!!!!
