Hey guys, just wanted to begin a thread for all UT Health SON hopefuls who are applying for Spring 2016. I look forward to getting to know all of you as we begin to play what seems to be the longest waiting game ever! I am more than confident that each and every one of us will be receiving our acceptance letters around this same time next year:) Feel free to share anything regarding the application process and/or ask any questions that you may have!

@valxoxo7, Yay, thats exciting! I guess so because I think the TSI requirement is listed on your transcripts so that would make sense. The site wasn't working for me these past couple of days but I'm gonna try to log in now. Good luck on your HESI Monday!

Hi @valxoxo7! I second what jmarg4 said about course they accept! And I too read on here somewhere that a students medical terminology course wasn't accepted so she had to hurry and take another short term class to make up the credits. Also, if you don't have transcripts and TSI on you to do list then that means those are complete! Are you sure you need more classes? I would double-check with them to make sure they have all the right info. I had to resend my transcript early this week (by mail this time) because I guess the electronic transcript "skipped" my govt 2306 class that I took Spring 2016. Also, for some reason on the evaluation they sent me the terms for all the classes I've taken are all messed up? Like, the classes I took in Spring '16 it says I took in Fall '14. Very weird. Anyhow, I would just double check if you need to extra classes or not. And good luck on your HESI!! :)

Is anybody having trouble logging into their UTH account? I haven't been able to log in all week. When I enter my log-in info. it just refreshes back to the same log-in screen.

I was having trouble with it working too. Makes me feel better I wasn't the only one.

Hi guys, I have question regarding to Hesi. Do you know if 2 attempts of testing Hesi is per application peroid or for time life? I failed the 1st attempt for Fall 2015 and the failed the vocabulary section for Spring 2016. I don't know if I can have chance to take another try for Spring 2016?

Hi!! Either I read somewhere or I heard it at the info session that your HESI scores are valid for 2yrs? It's either 2 or 5. BUT, I could be wrong and your best bet would be to call and ask. Also, did you take the HESI through them both times? If not, maybe you could take it through another school and if you like those scores request to have them sent to them as well?

To those that have taken the HESI at least 2 weeks ago, is it still on your to do list? I took it before the end of June and it's still on my to do list.... deadline is around the corner and I want to make sure they have everything right. :nailbiting:

Hey guys, I have to use internet explorer to check my account. Just checked right now....HESI is still on my to do list... firefox let's me log in but that's as far as it goes.

@Winemo, I was FINALLY able to log-in, thank goodness! We are in the same boat, took my HESI in June and it is still on my to-do list as well. Seems like they have received my transcripts, but the HESI score is starting to make me anxious lol.

For anyone who is having trouble logging into their myUTH accounts, call the IT department at this number: 713-486-4848. My account had been locked for some reason and he was able to unlock it for me right away! Hope this helps!!

That's crazy! Glad they fixed it fast though!! Ugh yes, it's making me anxious too lol. Idk if it was this thread or another one but somebody mentioned something about the person that uploads the scores wasn't in and that there are 500+ scores to upload! Great....lol.

I emailed them and I was told that as well. The lady had been out and it would take time to upload and update the status. They confirmed though that mine made it, so you may try that route.

Does anyone know when UTHSC-Houston lets applicants know if they are accepted or not? I just found out that UTMB accepted me so it's huge relief but Houston os closer. My HESI stats are 94 overall and 820 on Crit. GPA on pre-reqs is 3.9. Science is 4.0. They probably won't like my low Crit on HESI.

Hello all,

I am applying for UTH spring 2016 and I am trying to figure out what my HESI ID is. This is required when filling out the online application when filling out the HESI results that we got. Please if anyone could help me I would appreciate it. Is it the "HESI ID" the username that is used to log into HESI's website or is it the STUDENT ID that they give you with the report?
