This thread is dedicated to the applicants of UT Houston's Spring 2012 application period. I've seen various threads posted throughout the discussion forum regarding the upcoming application period, but they are scattered and hard to keep track of. Maybe if we keep our discussion in one place it will be easier for us all to follow :)
I'm applying with the following stats:
Pre-req GPA: 3.21
Science GPA: 3.66
Overall GPA: 2.81
I know my chances of getting in aren't great with my overall GPA, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway! Please post your stats, your thoughts, your experiences, ideas and opinions here:)
In past application periods, people have reported that they checked UTLink multiple times throughout the day. They said, one minute their "holds" we're the same and later that same day there were additional holds added.
Has anybody else received a transcript evaluation from UT-H recently? I recieved another one today even though my transcripts have not changed and this evaluation is is the same as the last one I received from them.
Yes, for UTHSC it is Spring, Summer, Fall and Spring. UTHSC graduates that May 2013 and TWU graduates Dec 2013. TWU is off during the summer. I believe the schedule is mandatory for both schools.
Are y'all asking for the transcript evals or are they just coming? I sent in an updated transcript on Monday and my UTLink has already been updated but I've only ever gotten a transcript eval in the mail when I've specifically asked for one. I really hope that doesn't mean something bad

I think they only update UTlink once per day (at night) so it's doubtful we'll see any changes throughout the day.
An admissions counselor told me this. Has anybody seen different?
