This thread is dedicated to the applicants of UT Houston's Spring 2012 application period. I've seen various threads posted throughout the discussion forum regarding the upcoming application period, but they are scattered and hard to keep track of. Maybe if we keep our discussion in one place it will be easier for us all to follow :)
I'm applying with the following stats:
Pre-req GPA: 3.21
Science GPA: 3.66
Overall GPA: 2.81
I know my chances of getting in aren't great with my overall GPA, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed anyway! Please post your stats, your thoughts, your experiences, ideas and opinions here:)
Good luck to everyone!!
I got all of my TSI stuff sorted out today and my UTLink was updated!!! Yay :) The registrar responsed super fast to my email. I was impressed. Taking my Stats final this week, Nutrition final next week, then start Dev. Psych. and I'm done with my pre-req's. Yay again :)
Ahh, you must be taking 8 week courses. My final for Sociology is next week also (it's an 8 wk course). Then I just gotta ride out the semester with Stat and Lifespan. Almost over; then the REAL fun begins
Yayyy for all of us finishing our pre-reqs. It's been a longgg ride and I'm just ready to get on with things. I'm in my last pre-req right now, too, but it's a full 16 week. Philosophy. It's an online class, so it isn't too bad, but there's a ton of reading. I'm also in intro to computer science honors, french, and pharmacology. It is honestly my hardest semester so far, but not too bad I suppose.
@encephalon7 stats was horrrrrrrible for me. lol I made an A, but that was by the kindness of a friend of mine that is a statistics professor giving me a lot of help. It is the weirdest kind of math, ever. Who knows though, maybe you'll like it, and maybe it will be easy for you. ^_^
