Hello everyone! This thread is for everyone applying to the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. I believe they will be accepting applications from January 15-April 1, so the sooner the better! Their admission requirements are pretty standard:
Minimum Pre-Req Gpa: 2.75
Minimum Science Gpa: 3.0
Minimum HESI A2 score: 75% or higher on all required sections - math, reading comprehension, vocabulary/general knowledge, grammar, anatomy and physiology, critical thinking.
My info is really not that competitive, but I'm going to give it a shot anyways -
Pre-Req Gpa: 3.30
Science Gpa: 3.0 (Barely cutting it! )
Overall Gpa: 3.28
Hesi score: 93.3% overall, with my lowest score being a 90.
My gpa is not the best, but I still have 3 more classes to finish this semester, and I'm aiming for all A's! I think the best thing I have going for me is my HESI scores.

I can't log it!!! this is so frustrating. Are people getting their acceptance for the fall through UTlink? Whats going on? Anyways, congrats to everyone who has gotten you!
Does everyone think they are done updating statuses until Monday morning? I really need a reason to stop religiously checking My UTH.
Unless the UTHSC registrar is going to come in over the weekend to update statuses, I doubt anymore updates will be performed before Monday. Last semester they updated it over the midweek, so everyone found out within 2 consecutive days. Too bad they started on a Friday this time.
I think they are done updating for the weekend. And I got my acceptance through myUTH. I know if you go back to pages in the mid 60's, I think, somebody posted a link to where your suppose to go.
I have no faith in myUTH right now! I moved in December and the first thing I did was to change my address and I had a new e-mail that I changed on their system. I checked yesterday to make sure (because I never received a transcript eval.) and they had the old info still. So, I changed it AGAIN and clicked saved, my correct info. was listed right there. But, yet again, I just checked it and they have my old address & e-mail. This is SO frustrating!!!!
