Hey everyone?!
Just wanted to start a forum to see if there are any other nursing student applicants for the Fall semester? I just applied, although, I know I will not get a response until beginning of April. I was so excited since I just finished my HESI. I had to retake it since I did not take Vocab. the first time I took it? . Anyways, I really pray I get in for August so I can get started and not need to take any additional classes for other schools. My friend got in for Spring 2019 and she is loving it. I have really been fighting to get here for a VERY LONG TIME
I really can't wait. Good luck to everyone! ?

I'm not sure. I didn't work while I was in school doing my prereqs.
I like how everyone is analyzing the admission process. ? even though its still a mystery to us all.
Let me suggest that, after taking all the GPAs and experience into consideration, they probably also admit students by percentage from each colleges. E.g. some students from hcc, some from Lsc and so on. Even if the gpa is not that good.

Hello everyone! Understanding the admissions process is not easy. I am a clinic aide at an elementary school. I have a 3.9 gpa all the way across and got a 92% on my HESI on the first try. The first time I applied I was put on the waitlist which was for Spring. The second time I applied I was rejected which surprised me because it was Summer which should be the easiest time to get in. Here I am again praying...... lol

Yea with stats like that you would think you’d be a shoe in for any semester you apply to. If you don’t mind me asking what was your A&P score on the HESI? And you have a 3.9 for all three GPAs they look at? Sorry if I sound like I’m prying a little lol

Wow, that is crazy! You have amazing stats. Have you applied to any other schools? That is my fear, getting denied or waitlisted.
Best wishes for this time!

I just finished my prerequisites this semester and sent them the transcript as soon as my grades posted. Doubt it’ll matter for this application but hey ??♀️ Why not lol. If I don’t get in for fall at least they’ll have it for spring.

Yes, I can definitely agree to that. I don't see how people with lower scores get in, just does not make sense.
