UTH Cizik School of Nursing BSN Pacesetter- Fall 2019

Published

Hey everyone?!

Just wanted to start a forum to see if there are any other nursing student applicants for the Fall semester? I just applied, although, I know I will not get a response until beginning of April. I was so excited since I just finished my HESI. I had to retake it since I did not take Vocab. the first time I took it? . Anyways, I really pray I get in for August so I can get started and not need to take any additional classes for other schools. My friend got in for Spring 2019 and she is loving it. I have really been fighting to get here for a VERY LONG TIME

I really can't wait. Good luck to everyone! ?

this has been my biggest concern! Ive never not worked through school but this is the most important time so I decided not to risk it. Moving away from my family and friends. So ill be broke and alone lol

Not alone, we will all be on the struggle bus together. Especially, if we get in for this Fall.

So for the fall which fafsa will we fill out? I applied for summer too so I had applied for the 2019-2020 I believe. Would I have to fill it out again if im accepted for fall?

I don't think you fill it out again. I think you just make an amendment to it to add the term or school that accepts you.

Hi guys, i am worried about getting good grades if accepted, does anyone know if it is a lot tougher than community college ADN program? What is their graduation rate?

I would imagine nursing school will be tough no matter where you go but because this is a faster paced program it may be more difficult.

Oh ok. So is that something I can do after I get accepted?

I think it will be very time consuming. You must establish good study habits, no procrastinating, be disciplined, and ask for help when you need it. It will be different than ADN programs because it is fast paced. It will be hard but it can be done.

So I looked up their program completion grades. In 2016 it was 84% and in 2017 it was 82%. The NCLEX-RN Pass Rates for First Time Writers in 2017 was 95.22%. They also have the employment data:
