UT houston spring 2010 hopefuls

Published

hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.

Can't wait to hear from others.

my utlink status hasn't changed...I just got the email!

Okay, so are a couple people still waiting to hear?

Hey did everyone get the email at the same time?

Mine was sent at 12:20

i have no idea how i'm going to decide. as far as i'm concerned, the only real difference between the two is UT goes in the summer and TWU doesn't. which school are you leaning towards??

I feel like they are both extremely well respected nursing schools. So far, I've had better experiences with the people at TWU, so my gut reaction is to say TWU. But then again, I havent really had the chance to see the facilities at UT Houston, so I'd like to be able to do that. I wish there were a bunch of current students I could get together and ask questions from both schools. This is tough!

see i actually like UT houston's facilities better than i did TWU. it just felt more home-y to me. but the only time i've been to UT was for my interview, and TWU a few weekends ago for the open house. BUT it is very possible that i liked UT's facility better because it was the first one i saw, so that's now how i pictured nursing school and what it should like look, and TWU doesn't look like that. this is SO CONFUSING!

I want to see UT Houston's facilities more. I wonder if they would let me come look around? Was the technology in the simulation labs as good as at TWU? They had dummies that could talk and breathe, etc.

Does anyone know how soon we need to have our CPR certification done?

that i have no idea. i didn't even really get to look around the facility, i was just in that room where we waited, and then my interview room. i just liked how open it was, and the grassy area with the picnic tables next door!

LOL! that's what I really liked about the UT building too. haha.. I haven't really seen TWU's facility other than going up to a room for the info session. Do you guys know if that building is only for CON? UT's campus includes all the other schools too, right?
