For those who took the NET on Jan 9 yes your results will get there in time for the deadline...

There is also this company called Pearson Vue which is who I took the NET through, it is computerized and you get your results immediately but instead of paying $40 you pay $100, the exam will still be through ERI but you take it at a Pearson Vue facility...Hope this helps

Did you find it easier to take it on the computer? I know I also took the HESI and while it is an easier test (in my opinion) I think it helped a lot to take it on the computer. Also, at the testing center where I took the NET (on paper), they had us practically shoulder to shoulder it was so crowded - I imagine on computer they'd have to give us more room so people couldn't see their neighbor's screens. I already took the NET but I'm terrified that I won't be accepted anywhere (I'm very paranoid), so if I have to retake it I've been considering the computer one. It's a lot more, but not much more than the HESI ($90).

I still haven't received anything from them. I've finished with everything (well, not one class but I mean with the TEAS, sending transcripts, sending the verification letter..) but I heard they take awhile to send them out, so for those of us who were doing things last minute we won't get them for a bit.

Do you mean the letter we're supposed to get with our username and password to go online or is it something else?

Yes it was much easier by computer you still get the same amount of time for each section but u don't have a proctor you move at ur own pace...It took me an hour and a half to finish the whole exam and u also get ur grades immediately which is another big plus...

So each section is timed individually still? or its just an hour and a half total and you move at your own pace (kind of like the hesi)?

No u still get the regular 3 hrs and each section is timed invidually but if u finish a section before the timer u can move on...

I electronically sent my newest transcript, with updated grades, to UT on Monday morning, however, my gpa's on the UTlink haven't been updated yet. I'm getting so nervous because it's so close to the deadline. I was told by both schools that it takes 3 business days for it to be updated. Has anyone else had experience with this? I'm going to try and call UT first thing in the morning but they've been so busy that I haven't been able to get through to them. I'm thinking of going up to UT to drop off an official transcript.

When you get this "Pending status will be updated upon admissions committee decision." it means they have everything?

I do have this also "ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPTS Not Received"

I'm not done with my preq. so I am guessing I have that line because it is not the final transcript?

Yes, because if you look at the posts in other threads with people checking to see if they were accepted, those who weren't accepted stayed at "pending status blah blah blah."

Mine also shows academic transcripts not received. I haven't finished my prereqs and the transcript with my fall grades showed my spring classes as in progress. I wouldn't worry about that, since the admissions people had to fix my status (to the pending status), and they said everything looked good.

Skygyrl, UTLink updates overnight, so anything they received today won't show up until tomorrow. If that doesn't work, you might want to try emailing the admissions department. Both times I emailed them (including last week), I send my email late at night and had a reply by noon.

I never got a packet about my prereqs, but I was only fixed last week and their mail takes forever to get to me (and I live inside the loop, go figure!).

Thank you! I will email them right away. Now about this "pending status"... we're suppose to receive this after they have received everything? Do you think that I have not gotten that because they have been waiting for the transcript with my updated grades? I feel so behind. I tried to send my transcript 2 weeks ago from San Jac and realized it didn't go through. I then returned to San Jac and after researching the problem with an enrollment specialist we found that one of their books of electronic codes had the wrong code to UTHSC! So ever since I learned this I've been very on edge about UT receiving everything before the deadline.

Yay! I finally got my GPA's updated. I'm a little worried about the overall though.:crying2:

Prereq- 3.72

Science- 3.75

Overall- 3.05

I was just looking at the UT-summer acclerated discussion board and it shows that applicants started receiving interview letters Dec 27th! There application deadline was Dec. 1st. Hopefully ours are sent as quickly as theirs were. Good luck to everyone!

I have also applied to UT for Fall 2010. I am very anxious so if anyone gets a interview letter or whatever it may be, please post, and I will do so as well.
