Hey guys! Any of you apply to other programs? I was accepted at Kingwood LCC, but I turned down the program.

I forgot to add, thanks for posting that previous thread, I looked at other classes and they seemed to really boost each other up and helped out. There is a wealth of info there, but it can all be summed up basically into..be yourself, and be confident. lol.

We all want to be nurses here and help others.

Only if they could accept us all.

We really worked hard to achieve to the point where we are now.

After the acceptance week, we will be so close that

For those who have the interview Feb 8th tomorrow, do you guys want to wear

something small to symbolize that your a member in this forum? We could get together before 11:30am in their hallway.

We need a 1 page resume, valid photo ID, and of course yourself!

It would be cool if we could all give our favorite tips for relaxing!

This always relaxes me: Light some candles, take a hot bath, watch a romantic comedy or some other brain candy, and have a cup of chamomile tea.

Believe in yourself!! Know why you are valuable as a nurse

We all have good grades and now we have to showcase who we are.

I dropped an entire semester, but if I could go back I would do it again. My son was accepted to compete nationally in the Junior Olympics. I wanted to be there for every step of it. I am glad I was there, and If dropping those classes hurts me, so be it. The UT is not the right place for me. I could let myself get all freaked out and worried but ultimately I just have to trust that what is meant to be will be.

Good luck on interviews everyone! i have one on the 16th so if theres anyone else that day then maybe we can meet up! also, any advice on how long it is and maybe what to wear to the interview would be great too! thanks!

I will be wearing a suit. I will be dressed for business. I think the whole process takes about 4 hours. Past groups have suggested bringing something to nibble on, maybe a granola bar, and some water.

I am wearing a Pencil skirt and jacket 3 quarter sleeve. Tights and heels.

Horse...Have you called them to make sure that they have everything in order? Newest NET, Transcript, address, etc.

yeah i was thinking a pencil skirt too! haha and i really hope it doesnt last all that long..that seems like forever! i know the letter said 4 hours but im still holding out :) haha and congrats to you too! good luck!
