Anyone here applied already?
Have you taken the NET exam?
I haven't received an interview letter either!!
I dont think its alphabetical...
mjbayuda if you don't want to share YOUR interview experience then FINE. But don't ask others NOT to as well. Im sure all of us have looked on past forums for information and if they were like you, then we would be clueless. We are all on this forum to help each other. If i had the feb 8 interview I would gladly share my experience with others.
I agree with mjbayuda on some levels. Its fine to say there is a critical thinking essay and that the interview was harder than you thought. But specific prompts for the essay or the exact questions you were asked makes it unfair for those who didn't know what to expect going in. Just be yourself and be confident. I think that's the best advice ever.
I don't think it's alphabetical either because I called admissions and they stated that interview letters will be sent out until March...She stated that the registars office is still updating files, so I'm guessing that once your file is completed and u have a decent GPA and decent test scores your letter will be mailed...I still haven't receive a letter yet either...
I will help out after my interview, and will do so in personal messages if that is better for everyone. Everyone can do as they feel. I do not mind helping out anyone.
I have not gotten my interview yet (due to missing NET scores through no fault of my own), but I am sure I will. I meet more than the minimum requirements.
Not to mention there are plenty of posts made by previous applicants telling about what they were asked, so I don't see the harm. You either are what they are looking for, or you are not.

You will get one! You have good grades and great NET scores!!
Kellywood,I was just bothered that mj seemed to think it was only a bad idea to share input AFTER his/her interview.
I was merely suggesting.
If you want to put your input after your interview than it is fine to me, but think to yourself that we are all competitors in here.
Sharing your "specific experiences" such as specific interview questions
or critical thinking essay prompt might help a person who might just steal your spot because
he or she is more prepared because of you.
I will tell about my general experience, but not specific.
I can tell specific stuff after we all get the acceptance or rejection letters, so
the next batch can get help.
I am not trying to be someone enemy or to dictate anyone.

For those who havn't gotten any interview letters, don't lose hope.
If you have "Pending until reviewed by committee" (something like that) in your UTlink
and got 70+ on both math and reading section, then I think you will get one.
You either are what they are looking for, or you are not.
I completely agree. We can't make anyone suddenly have a higher GPA, experience, or a higher NET score. Everyone is preparing for their interviews and it's not all just 'did you answer the question right?' it's also how you present yourself and everything. No amount of extra info is going to make you "extra qualified" than you already are.
I do, however, agree that we should all help each other out before the first batch of interviews but if you don't want to share your interview experience then that's fine because it's true, we are each other's competition. And my interview seems to be later than most (the 16th) and while I would love some inside info like everyone else, I know it wouldn't be fair and if my interview was say, the 8th, I'd be nervous/upset that people who interviewed after me had an upper hand because they had information that I didn't.
I will probably post briefly the day I have my interview just to vent my frustration/excitement, because that's what most of us are here for (lol), but that's probably it. Of course by then a lot of you will have already completed your interviews as well!!!
I am looking forward to, once ALL the interviews are over, discussing in more detail how everyone's interviews went, if anyone is up for that.
To anyone who hasn't received a letter but is sure you qualify for an interview - my advice is to call the school and just wait it out. They SEEM to be going alphabetically but then there's people who sent stuff in kind of last-minute who haven't gotten interview invites yet. It makes me think that maybe they separated us into groups in terms of when the applications, transcripts, etc. were received and then are going through those groups alphabetically. So there's probably going to be another group getting interviewed in late Feb/early March or something. But if you're worried just call, it's what I would do!
My name also starts with a B and I haven't received an interview letter yet. My GPA and NET scores are well above the requirements and I had everything early except the NET score which they received shortly before the deadline. I think that they just have a lot of candidates and it takes time to notify and interview everyone. Even though I keep telling myself that my letter will be here soon, I'm still disappointed when I check the mailbox and don't see it there.
I agree that there is nothing you can do at this point to better your qualifications and it's fine to encourage one another. I have an interview the 8th. What if I come on here and tell everyone the essay prompt and all the questions they asked. You don't think that would give the people after me the possibility for more preparation? Interviews do make a big difference, it's not all just grades. If your grades are good enough, you will get an interview letter and it's after the interview that they make their decision. They also would not tell us the question for the essay at the info session so why do you think it's ok to share it on here? I am not trying to be rude but some people are being pretty harsh on here. Good Luck to all!!!

Horseloverbubba, I'm expecting an interview letter and still haven't gotten one yet. I didn't get my application finished until about a week before the deadline. The nursing department said that they will send out interview letters throughout February, so there's still lots of time.
