UT Houston (Fall 2014 applicants)

Hello Future Nurses,

Wanted to know if anyone was preparing to take the Hesi a2, and or applying to UT Houston before the Jan. 15, 2014 deadline for Fall 2014???? I would like to form a study forum!!

I hope they send out more acceptances today! I don't want to wait all weekend

I was scrolling through my facebook and noticed a girl I went to high school with got accepted today at 4:50 pm. I am hoping they send out some more for those of us waiting! Congrats again to every one who has already been accepted :)

@LindsayCrowe, I am! Well, I'll be commuting from my parents house in River Plantation and/or my grandmother's house in the Galleria area. I figure the days I need to be in class early or stay late, I'll just stay the night at my grandma's. I'm actually starting in the summer so I'll keep you posted on how the commute goes! and if our schedules are similar for the fall maybe we can carpool some days :)

Not sure if you all know this, but I called and asked about the program. Everyone is now in the accelerated pacesetter. So the last 4 months will be clinicals, instead of clinicals throughout the program.

That'd be awesome! I live in Harpers Landing, very close to River Plantation.

Does anyone know how the schedule is? I called and was told it's Mon-Fri 8am-5pm. But an acquaintance of mine says she has every Friday off. Im waiting to hear more from her.

are you in the fb group? I posted a document given to me by an upperclassman that shows what the schedule for the first semester will be like. I believe its class Monday through Wednesday and a clinical on either Thursday or Friday depending on what you're scheduled.

Hey everyone! I got my acceptance letter back on the 26th. I never received a transcript evaluation and I have no previous degree but I am a paramedic so that may have been taken into consideration. I am currently visiting Houston to check out the school and look at housing. Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted so far! Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Hey guys, where did you go to accept/decline?

i still have a green circle and I don't have an option to accept or decline the offer of acceptance. Before you ask, yes, it's been over 48 hours. I was accepted Wednesday. Was it on your to do list?

Could the problem be that I am on my iPad? :p
