UT Houston (Fall 2014 applicants)

Hello Future Nurses,

Wanted to know if anyone was preparing to take the Hesi a2, and or applying to UT Houston before the Jan. 15, 2014 deadline for Fall 2014???? I would like to form a study forum!!

I called and spoke with ----------- and she said that "I was accepted for Fall and that's what i should accept" When I was still trying to ask about Summer she repeated herself so I think she was trying to hint to me I was denied for Summer and that I can go ahead and confidently accept for Fall. Lol Oh well, still SO excited! I accepted my ofer just now so I am OFFICIAL! And for those of you still waiting I would say to try to wait till afternoon because I got my acceptance email pretty late in the afternoon, like almost 4!! GOOD LUCK! And I'm still trying to find the facebook group could someone help me out???

Not for me. I am wondering when it would be appropriate to call and bug someone today. Maybe after 3:00??? If I have to go the weekend with knowing anything I am gonna freak out! (well, more freak out) ;-)

We have until April 7 to accept the offer, they will probably send out a bunch of acceptances after they know who has declined and accepted. Hope you hear something sooner though!!! :)

I am thinking we will get another wave of acceptance letters after the first wave accepts or declines their admission. I have never checked my email so many times! It is so brutal!!

I am not sure that this is the "first wave," perhaps it is for those who did not apply for early admittance, but I have a friend who was admitted before the January 15th deadline if I am not mistaken (but it is a very likely possibility that I am).

Hmm that's strange, I have never heard of early admittance. I was always told by the people at UTH that they didn't even look at any applications until after the deadline.
